    Child Abandonment
I was wondering if I could take my child's father to court for child abandonment. He hasn't been paying what child support order saids. However, every now and then I will get like $20 put on my card or may a little more. I was wondering if this is considered grounds for abandonment?

Nope, at present only you can abandon the child since you have control and custody. You can, however, go back to court regarding his failure to pay child support, assumining that way the court's order.

So much will depend on where you live. In Georgia for example if you have court ordered child support, you can request the DA to do abandonment but it only deals in GA with support

But in most areas, abandonment is merely used in civil court for new motions
