    Probation Timed Out?
Is there a law stating that a county can keep me on probation until my restitution is paid in full? My PO says that I've 'Timed Out' but I still owe a lot of money. I've made monthly payment for 7yrs and my original sentence was for 4yrs probation. My probation fees are paid in full though. Is there some sort of payment plan with the county court house I can set up and make them release me from probation?

The judge is the one to petition. He is the one who signs the order of probation termination, not the PO. Did you ask your attorney about this scenerio?

Normally probation is to include time and certain conditions, in the past they used to merely violate you and put you in jail if you could not pay. Most recently they merely keep you on probation till it is paid, ** thus putting pressure on you to pay.

So to get off probation you will need to file a motion with the court, not with the PO
