Hi, Should the male ringneck be taken out of the cage after she has laid her eggs? If so why and for how long?

Much of that will depend on the temperament of your male, caged birds can show aggression simply because they cannot get away from who is bothering them,
In general, Ring Neck Parrots are good parents, but can sometimes show aggression toward their young.
If this happens, they will most definitely need to be separated.
Are you thinking of hand-raising them? If so visit this site loads of information here.

    Good luck with your brood.
