I have dirty blonde hair and trying to touch up roots, what do I use so my hair does not go brassy red

Use a color toner that has neutral undertones. Not gold undertones or you'll get red for sure.

Its sounds like a terror of a question. I don't agree with hair,Hurt the hair quality.
