My brother is quite the emotional type. He gets mad super easy and takes everything literally. He struggles with anger management and maybe a little of depression. I guess it's genetics because my mom struggles with that too. Recently I discovered that he was stealing my money. He stole 45$ from me. I found the money laying on his bed when I went to go see if he was in his room. I can't believe he did that... I just don't know if I can ever trust him again... he doesn't know that I know he stole my money but my parents know. When my mom found out about the money she sat on her bed and cried for 2 hours strait... it's tearing our family apart.. please help me!

Now wait. Your mother cried for 2 hours and your family is torn apart because your brother stole $45 from you? Sounds extreme. And why haven't you confronted him instead of telling her? Are you afraid of him? Sibling jealousy and rivalry is very common and no one needs to get all criminal minded about this. Sit everyone in the home down later in the evening and talk about it. You will have to lock up your money etc from now on, I guess, and tell him you don't trust him and won't even lend him anything anymore. You don't say how old you all are, but if you have $45, I have a feeling you are no kid, nor is he.

I think my mom cried for that long because she was having trouble processessing that my brother stole money from me. And I was going to confront him but my parents told me to wait because they wanted to talk with him and wanted him to confess to me. I had to listen to them because I'm only a teenager.The only reason I had 45$ was because I babysit. I think he stole it from me because he wanted some extra cash so he could buy an iPod touch. And no I don't think just this one thing is tearing our family apart, I'm sorry if I mislead you on that.what I meant was the money thing kind of ruined everyone's relationship that we had before. Even my parents don't trust him anymore and there's a lot more fighting. But the money thing all worked out because he returned it even though I don't think we can trust him again
