I am a type 2 Diabetic. I took my Blood sugar 1-2 hours after a mean and it was 150... I then realized I had forgotten my Morning dose of Metformin. So I took my Meds 1 hour later I retested and it was up to 154. Kind of freaking me out as I am 41/2 months pregnant. What up what should I do
That is huge cause for concern, I would see your doctor right away considering you have not only yourself to worry about but your baby as well.

What do you USUALLY "run"? How off your "usual" is this reading? Without knowing what food you ate it is difficult to know BUT your sugar will climb until the medication "kicks in." It is not an immediate response. The usual for YOU may not be the usual for the rest of the diabetics in the World.

I trust your Physician has referred you to an ob/gyn who is familiar with diabetes in pregnant women? That can make a big different in your treatment.
If you feel like calling and asking, I would so so BUT it is my opinion that this is a spike brought on because you skipped your medication. Ask to be sure if you are concerned.
