    Browish/blood and thick something's.
I am on the patch and.. all of a sudden thick brown discharge and terrible cramps came, now I went to use the restroom (#2) sorry, but I was pushing and, there was a large amount of blood and 2 something's that looked like, you know when people have lipo and you see their bloody nasty fat thrown on the table.. well that's how it looked, and there were two large pieces of this... what could this be.. after I finished using the bathroom, I felt very weak, I don't know if its because of what I saw or.. these things that came out of me.. please somebody help and tell me what this is? My cramps are not as bad now but they are still there, and I still have my patch on... I am 20...

Did it look like you had blood IN your stool? If yes, please, please, please, go make an appointment with a doctor. If you want to have a discussion with your gynecologist first, then do so. They can guide you as to what doctor you need to see. It could just be the result of something you ate and the blood may be from your period, but I wouldn't just ignore it. This is not something someone can diagnose easily on this site and I am concerned enough to ask you to please go to the doctor as soon as possible. No need to panic, but my life rule has been, if something is happening with my body that is out of the norm, I go to check it out before any larger problems may arise. Please don't ignore this even if you are feeling better tomorrow.

What you are describing are called clots. How long have you been on the patch? This could be normal if you are new to it. However, it would be in your best interest to make a doctors appointment to make sure that you were not having a spontaneous abortion (miscarriage).

Well, no blood in my stool, it came from where it is supposed to.. and I have been on the patch for a very long time, but I stopped and recently started again about a month and a half ago, now I know what bllod clots look like, but I have never saw anything like the white stuff, it was pretty large and when I took the tampon out, I know this is a lot of gross info, but when I took it out it looked like clear slim or something, and when I was using the bathroom this stuff slid past the tampon, and I felt it coming out, at first I thought it was clots but it was white, now it wasn't snow white but I'm telling you it looked exactly like fat from when people get lipo.. I do have a dr appt, on sat.. So I will ask them, I was just a little scared.. and I forgot to mention I am not bleeding anymore its just brownish thick stuff again... thanks

That white stuff you are talking about sounds like Cervical Mucus.

Hi Starsbooty. I only answered your posting because I could see that you were very nervous and scared. I knew J_9 was busy yesterday and wasn't sure if she would show up so I wanted to make sure you contacted the doctor. I am sure J_9 will show up again and I will leave this to her. She knows a lot more than I do. But, I am so, so, so glad the blood wasn't in the stool and the bleeding has stopped. I am also relieved that you have a doctors appointment. You may want to just write up a little "memo" on what exactly happened. Bring it with you to the doctors office on Saturday. I know for me, I forget the specifics of stuff that has happened when I am in the doctors office and a bit nervous about what the answer may be, and it usually helps the doctor ask additional questions he/she may have and figure out pretty quickly what is going on.

Just a suggestion. Good luck! And, if you get a chance, update us on this posting when you find out what it was. I would like to know if you are okay, and for myself, if something like this happens to me or a friend, I would also like to know what it was.? :)

What happened could be a result of the way you stopped and then started the patch. However, when in doubt with your health it is your best bet to visit your health care provider.
