I was issued a citation on may 24, 2011 but was not cited at time of incident, and I remained in my vehicle, stopped in bus red zone to drop someone off, bus was not at bus stop, received citation in mail, fine is $260, I wrote a letter to dispute fine, but it was rejected because I did indeed stop in red zone. Is there any way to fight the fine? I am unemployed and this caused a financial hardship..

If you committed the crime you are stuck. You can try appearing at the hearing and hopefully getting the fine reduced.
