My children's father and I got into an argument because I came home and caught him cheating on me... so I smacked him in his face and told him to get out my house.. he wouldn't leave because he said that his name was on the lease to,so I called the cops.when the cops came they did a report and put it under domestic violence,they put out a warrant for his arrest and now he is locked up... what will happen,even though he didn't hit me or anything,will it still be a violation

Why did they arrest him, they should had arrested you, since you hit him,
1. he did not hit or touch you, it appears
2. he was the victim , from what you say
3. he did not have to leave if his name is on the lease.

When you called the police what did you tell them ? That you hit him and he would not leave the house he leases ?

He gets a good attorney and hopefully gets the charges dropped.

What is he on parole for ?

Something really doesn't sound right here... maybe something is being left out, I don't know. It makes no sense that he was arrested based on what was posted here. Sure, cheating isn't a good thing but how did he get arrested? You hit him and nothing was done to you at all?
