After a few days of doing nothing but sleeping my cat has begun to spin around in circles. This is now the only movement my cat will make and I am beginning to get concerned. Also, one of its eyes is swollen shut while the other is abnormally wide open. I am wondering if there is a type of worm that could cause this or some type of poison that might have caused it. I would appreciate any information you can provide me about these symptoms.

Please take your cat to the vet! No worm would cause this. Your cat is in bad shape!

I'll not even venture a guess here, just tell you that your cat needs medical care ASAP.
These are symptoms that will not get better on their own.
Sounds neurologic in nature, never heard of a worm doing this.
