    Bathroom condensation
I just remodeled a bathroom. After the shower was used I noticed water driping down the walls. I installed a ceiling vent fan with the 4" vent tube leading out the soffit. Now water condesation is dripping from the ceiling. The problem became worse. What can I do to fix the problem.

What is the size of your bath room and how many cfm is the fan? Also how long is the tube before it terminates and where does it terminate?

In addition to Ballenger's questions please tell us what kind of primer and paint you used?

Did you use a bathroom paint with a mildewcide in it?

    Let us know,OK?

Be sure the duct is connected to the fan. If so, I agree with Ballenger to suspect that your fan is too weak and your duct run is too long or has too many bends. Might help to transition to a rigid metal duct if possible. Some condensation and water dripping down walls is unavoidable if your bathroom is cool and you take long, hot showers.
