I am currently 9 weeks pregnant, and I had an abdominal ultrasound done today. The gestational sac measures 3.2 cm in length, but it still looks mostly empty. Is this normal?

What did the technician say? Was she concerned? I don't think there is much to see really at 9 weeks. It would still be very much an embryo.
