When I turn the unit switch off then on again, the blower comes on, the igniter lights, then it shuts off oafter about 10 seconds. The power is still on and it goes into like power saving mode.

The ignitor comes on but does the burner light?. If there isn't a flame detected after a certain amount of time, the unit automatically shuts down to avoid gas leakage.
