IF its wired according to rule of thumb, you should turn off breaker/power to furnace then remove red-yellow-green from the tstat. Twist them together and turn back on breaker/power to the furnace.if it was prob. Of the tstat the ac should come on and the blower in the furnace starts to run.

From what I see, I would hook up red(hot from transformer) to green? For blower fan to work and also to the blue or yellow for outside compressor. I would check breakers and disconnects.
Any reaction from thermostat will tell you 24 volt transformer is good? Otherwise check low voltage fuse.
Note: Actual Colors MAY be different and may cause damage(likely just blow a fuse).
Everyone does not wire the same.
