I have a 24.0 hp, 48" mower Electric start, Automatic Trans, model no. 917.276703, engine model no. 445677.
It starts on a cold start, but once it's heated up for 5min or so and stopped it won't restart. It will click when key is turned on and sometimes will restart. Replaced the solenoid and tested the battery off the mower at a shop.
So what options are there for it not restarting?
