Can I request IRS to do an audit on my employer?
I just started with this part time job trying to help my boss organize his book. He used to get outside accounting firm to do it and since this year he has not done anything. When I went through his bills and bank statements, there are so many items that I could not reconcile and there are no backup for support. I was not very happy with my boss and ask him why he used his business account to pay for his personal expenses etc. And he told me he has been in business for over 35 years and never got audit before. Is there any way I could get IRS involve withour hurting myself. I just want him to learn the right way to keep his book and not get me in trouble later on.
