I have a high pain tolerance and have had over 16 piercing procedures done, my tragus was probably 3rd most painful behind nipple and sternum. Just breathe and have someone's hand to hold. You'll be fine. If it was excruciatingly painful, so many people wouldn't have it done! Good luck. Ramona.
