Standing Drain pipe overflows from Wash. Machine
Here is my problem. I have a washing machine which empties into a standing drainpipe (PVC) this pipe then leads to a drain pump, which sits on floor next to washing machine. This pump then pumps water up into waste plumbing. The pump does work (I can hear it anyway), however when the washer hits the rinse cycle, I think it dumps the water in too fast for the pump to handle it. Therefore it sprays out of the standing drain pipe. Yes, I am on a septic system. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Put a laundry tub (sink) in. let the washer standpipe drain into the sink, and connect the sink to the pump. The excess will be held in the sink while the pump works on it. Have had mine set up this way for 2 years, no problems.

Get a drainasaur pump that sits under the laundry tub. They're only about 12 inches high
