    Ah Shucks!
    I won't get the opportunity to become my own great grandfather. Time travel is impossible and with it goes our dream of travelling to the stars without breeding on the way
    It's official: time machines won't work
    I also suspect that with it goes the possibility we might be visited by aliens anytime soon

    I am too old for breeding on the way to anywhere, but could offer myself as compost for the gardens.

    They are of course only referring to Fast Than Light speed in THIS reality here, but as any good scifi fan knows, this doesn't mean Hyper Space is not an impossibility ;)
    Anyway who needs FTL for time travel..
