I am on probation and recently got charged with a duo in another state. I told my PO and he is letting me finish my internship before he does anything. Will he wait until the case in the other state is resolved before throwing me in jail? The state is 800 miles away and I have to show up for hearings etc.

Did your PO give you permission to leave the state for those hearings?

The hearings haven't started yet, this all occurred in the past few weeks
I see him for the first time since I left for my internship in a month or so. He hasn't told me what he plans to do or how things will be dealt with the duo case.

When you were traveling there and got the new charges, did you have permission to be out of state ?

Or is this really two violations. Being out of state and the DUO

But really hard to say, I am surprised you are not already locked up, my best guess, since he did not lock you up now, he will wait till after hearings
