My mechanic says I need a new Heatcraft module - ftc8-eco3. I cannot locate that part. Any help?

Don't keep running the unit especially if it's making noise like that or you'll do more damage. Call another repairperson and see what they say.

What kind of "mechanic" did you call? This time call a licensed a/c tech and see what they say is wrong. Could be something completely different.

Always get a second opinion seeing as how you can't find the part as it just might not exist.

On my old Studebaker it is under the hood,, not knowing what vehicle you have it would be impossible to help you
