    Toilet offset
I bought an old house that's on a concrete slab. I want to replace the tub with a better one that's 36" by 72". The problem is that the toilet is in the way. If I could move it 6 inches sideways... 8 inches would be even better... could install the new bathtub.

Any ideas? Anyone ever seen a 6 inch or 8 inch offset? Where can I buy one? It would have to go into a 4 inch inside diameter cast iron pipe.

Thanking anyone for their help in advance,

You are not going to like this fix. You don't have room for an "offset" even if one existed. Your concrete would need to be broken out and the waste drain moved over 8 in. If you don't have all of the correct tools you should call a local plumber. They do this stuff all of the time. He might even be able to give you a good price setting your new tube. Chances are pretty good you will find alignment problems with the new tubes drain.
