    Worthwhile work?
I am a emotionally fragile female with no marketable skills. An adolescence spent in psychiatric care has left me with a couple of low level qualifications (Scottish Intermediates; English, Psychology, Media) and basically no interests or hobbies. I have no natural talents and am drawn to nothing.

I would rather avoid a future in a menial job serving no real purpose other than to punch keys on a till or making fast food. So I am looking for advice toward finding 'worthwhile work', oppinions on what that could include would also be welcome.

I am open to all suggestions. Note I am not academically intelligent (please don't suggest 'surgeon' or something), nor am I tought and in top health (please don't suggest the military/police).

I am a blood donor and registered as an organ donor. I have no substance abuse issues, no criminal record and I am in my early 20s. I have worked in the voluntary sector but only in retail work, I am looking to move toward paid work as I need the money.

    Thank you.

Any work can be full of promise and help for others, a fry cook at McDonalds may read to the elderly on their time off.
Or they can talk and be a friend to those in need where you work.

Work in a nursing home, if it is only doing laundry or changing bed pans, if you are the light to someone's life you have a purpose.

Finding the right job is a matter of finding the activities that you love doing. Satisfaction should not be a problem if your job can easily give worth to you as an individual. There are lost of options especially now that online jobs are available and it is you to decide which job can work for you best.
