If a window is open in a bedroom will this cause the a/c to continue running

Let me see, has the outside gotten cool enough to allow unit to shut off. All the unit has to do is cool the entire outside area.

*** of course it can, unless the house ( and area where the control is, gets to the cool setting, the unit will keep running.
