I have an MTD riding mower and the bottome shadt seal is leaking oil; How do I remove the shaft and change the seal? I have the enigine loose but the PUlly won't allow the engine to come all the way off.

You will have to remove the pulley . Probably will destroy pulley.sometimes I have to cut them off.
