    Howdy

I have some files, all of which are .jpg
I have FTP them to an AOL web server.
    Questions:
What extension do they now have?
If not HTML, how do they get to be HTML which is
    What I am wanting?
And, yes, I am new at this.

    Thanks for listening!

When you FTP a file, it retains its extension (unless you have configured your software to change anything. A JPG should not be an html file -- JPG is a compression format for a picture while html is a language for writing a page -- you can't send a photo as an essay. You need a web page in html to list the jpg files and then have them be clickable and they'll open.
