Who do you sue when a repair shop charges to fix your car and the car is not fixed and they say it is not their problem anymore. I paid a repair shop $3000 to fix my BMW and get it ready to pass an inspection but it still won't pass and they say its not their fault. Do I sue the company itself or do I sue a particular person in the company?

Fisrt off we don't know what was said at the time of the repair. Did they do the work that was written up on the work order? Did the promise it would pass after they worked on it?

What exactly was fixed on the car that it didn't pass inspection?
