Usually after I accelerate quickly my car starts to surge and pulse normally around 40 mph. once I come to a complete stop it dies completely. I have changed fuel filter and plugs and wires. But it is continuing to die occasionally.

More information... Make, model, year, engine? Does it restart easily after it dies out on you? Do you have to let it sit before it will start?
Replacing the Ignition Control Module (ICM) should solve the problem.
