Can anyone tell me how toxic the water that I have been consuming from a Kohler kitchen faucet that has obvious hose problems? Horrible chemical smell. Who has tested the water coming out of these faulty faucets and what health hazards are involved?

I'd recommend that you call the Kohler company directly and speak with the technical department. If you have one of the faucets with the defective hoses they will send you out a new pair or a new faucet last I heard... ;)

I have not heard that they are particularly a health hazard as much as I have heard that the water is smelly.
