This dishwasher has just been sitting since I have no idea what is wrong with it.
It has the LED lights on the front but will not run at all and lights don't light up.
Its just dead like its unplugged except that its not unplugged!

Recently, after sitting in not-running condition for awhile,
Some valve opened up and water filled the dishwasher and
Leaked out onto the floor!

Yet, it still doesn't work... go figure

    Yes, its plugged in.
No, the safety lock isn't on(wouldnt the LED still light up for that)
Yes, we flipped the breaker in basement
Could it be a plumbing issue? The previous home owners installed it.

Any ideas what could be wrong and how much it might cost to have fixed?

You need to check the voltage at the connection under the washer. Just because you flipped the breaker does not guarranttee you have power at the unit. However, the fill valve requires electricity to open the valve, it can't open without it. I suspect you have a bad motor or cotacts in the timer. Unless you are pretty good with small electric connections and testing it may be time to call in a pro.
