I remember certain parts, it's an animated movie, quite old.
Based around a little girl, taken from an orphanage, I believe she has a dog.
Her new owners force her down a well to look for a diamond, there cruel to her and, is it animals which plan to save her? I'm not sure.
Something happens, maybe while she's escaping and fireworks go off, the farther has a shotgun.
