Hi I'm a little confused I will try to explain the whole problem and what I have done and if you can help what to do now. My daughter put plaster from a model figurine in toilet before I realized I flushed it all did not go down so I scooped what was left out turned toilet off, poured hot water down toilet got it working. 2 days later went to do laundry and it came back up the pipe on to floor and toilet bubbled so when I tried to flush toilet it came up to the rim and was very slowly to go back down. Thought maybe the septic tank was full just had it emptied not completely from what I can c. took shower toilet started bubbling again so flushed came up to rim again went down slowly, so for now we have the line for landry empting outside on grass, neighbor went up on roof stuck a long pole in and added water from hose to see if it would come through tub nothing. Also when toilet was up to rim I tried plunge and it backed up in my tub and out the pipe that the hose goes into for draining laundry water. Any clues should I get a snake just in case and where do I use it? Any help will do ***.

The plaster of paris has really hardened and is now permanently stick inside the drain pipe. You may have to bite the bullet and call out a professional to get this clog out.

I hope you severely punished your daughter over this and advised her not to do this in the future.

The plaster probably got stuck some where in the drain. Later tissue and solids got caught on the plaster and totally or almost totally block the drain. The blockage will beyond the point where the washer empties into the main sewer line. You will have to pull the toilet and snake the sewer line.

Not a septic tank problem. Septic tanks are always full, they don't begin to work until they are full.

When your dealing with a drains backing up, its important to look at how each drain for each fixture is connected to one another. That will help in figuring out was is plugged up and what's not, If you can't see these drain pipes cause there are underground, you should first try to locate a clean-out in a plumbing stack that comes out of the ground and goes up to other fixtures in the house, if you have a basement, there may be a clean-out or plug in the floor, most likely going out the same direction where the septic tank is.

If you don't have any luck there, you may have to pull up a toilet to gain access to the main sewer line going out to the septic tank.

The main reason you're doing this is to see if the main line going out of the house is plugged or if its just one or two drain lines that are giving you problems, then you can work backwards to see where the plug may be.

That's where I'd start and YES you probably need some kid of snake or sewer fish tape to push that down the drain
