Depends on whether they "catch" the warrant. If they do, there's a good possibility you're not getting on the airplane.

Just because your friend got away with it is no guarantee you will get away with it. They must have been lazy at the airport and your friend sneaked through. You may not be so lucky.

    Hello k:

I'll bet they were on a doughnut break. But, if it was me, I'd wonder if those JILLIONS of dollars they spent on airport security aren't good enough to pick up a bench warrant.

NO unless its FBI Most wanted or Murder the won't stop you leaving trust me I used to work at the airport. Coming back you may but you won't go though customs leaving only coming back...

I'm former US Customs. I've been an investigator for a long time.

I know what I'm talking about.

I have NO idea why someone flying NY to CA and back would go through US Customs - Homeland Security, yes. US Customs - no.

Unless one of those States is no longer part of the US, of course.

If you leaving the country they don't check for petty Warrants... My boyfriend has been to Europe 3 times this year and he has a warrant for Auto Theft felony in CA. It did show up coming in the country but its non- extraditable.. He just flew yesterday from Chicago to London. No problems
