Where does the blue wires hook up

Typically, the blue wire is the power feed to the light,

If you have a wall switch controlling the light, the blue would connect to the return from that switch.

If all you have in the ceiling is a black and white supply, that the black from the fan and the blue from the light would connect to the black supply wire.
