Ok so me and my ex were together for 5 years and lived together for 4 we were madly in love with each we were even engaged shared everything we even ended up liking things we didn't before. We were always together. The reason he broke up with me was because I got into an argument with his mom but I had a good reason for it she hated me. It's barely been a month and two weeks since the split. At first when he broke up with me I accepted it and began to do my own thing. He was going crazy he told me he regretted leaving me. He started acting very mean with me putting stuff on Facebook and he even told me he is talking to someone else. I'm devastated but I have yet to contact him and I don't put anything on Facebook or am I trying to get revenge. Now I think he's casually dating the girl he told me he was talking too it's all over Facebook pics
And everything. A few days ago I had to meet up with him to hand him a memory stick we talked a little and he showed he still missed me he was nervous called me by the nickname he had for me and even caressed my face oh and after I said goodbye he didn't want to let me go he still kept talking to me. I saw all these signs but yet he won't call or text me he only waits for me to do it I don't understand and I do it only because I have to. Any advice I still love this man very much!!

Go no contact and have nothing more to do with him.

He broke up with you rather than solving the problems you had.

He's also dating somebody else.

Go back to accepting it's over and start healing from the break up.

Stay off Facebook, and get no more updates, and just keep accepting its over, and keep doing your own thing and let hi do whatever he wants. Why should you crawl back to him? He dumped you, and his mom still hates you so what's the point?

Plus you have already been replaced, so nothing to go back to is there? He made his bed, let him lay in it.

Yea you both are right it's just hard for me because he was my first everything and I never thought it would end. I'm having trouble accepting it.

All break ups are tough.

Keep busy,see friends-do things that make you feel good.

You'll get over him-with time.

I have been doing just that but I still get sad from time to time. Him dating someone else has really brought me down last night a friend told me she saw him with her ughhh it kills me inside!

Denial works in this situation. It is indeed difficult, very difficult, but not impossible. Do not let your mind wander to that area imagining him with someone. Depend on your friends who really care for you. No one else can ease your pain like friends do.
When me and my girlfriend broke up due to some reasons, going on NC was difficult, and the thoughts of she dating someone would have killed me. Thankfully, read somewhere about this denial theory which helped me a lot. I just didn't let my mind think about her.

Oh yea the thing that's hard is that ge owes me money and he keeps putting it off to pay me later and the last time I talked to him he said he's going to pay me in instalments Idk what to do for NC

Oh and I think he's trying to keep me around just in case his new relationship doesn't work out when I saw him I asked him if he had a new girl and he said no I don't have money to have a girl well that's what he Sadi then when I left he texted me that I looked hella fine kudos ughhh what an ******* right!!

Does he owe you a lot of money?

If it's just a small sum let it go rather than having to speak to him.

And don't wait around for him to come back,that is so NOT a good idea!

I don't care what he owes you or why. Leave him alone and pick up the pieces of your life, and don't look back. Cut your loses, and him from your life and no matter how poor you are, you will be rich and happy for doing so. You have wasted enough on this loser, haven't you?

The money is no excuse for misery, or to see him again.
