My Wife is currently living in the UK. She has been here since March 2010 . Her 2 year visa runs out in July 2012.She wants to stay here for a further 2 years , when her visa expires.
She is enrolling in a Pre - Entry 1 ESOL course to learn English. This course is from Sept 2010 to June 2012. She would not pass the Life in the UK course . Can she extend her stay , without taking the Life in the UK Test ?

Would really appreciate any input !

The Life in the UK Test is mandatory... sorry. Actually the test is quite easy. How about getting her a tutor and work on this prep. Good luck.
