    Why can't my husband get his passport back from the government?
    If my husband is Serban and has a pending case with Immigration, how is he suppose to get his working permit? W e are waiting for approval for the I-30 now but is there something else we can do? /



    Pleeeeease help us out? Worried and confused.. His wife..

    What kind of pending case? Approval for the I30?

    Do you have an Attorney?

    Call Immigration and ask about the status of his passport. I'm curious. He has a US passport but he's NOT a US citizen - ?

    He has a Serbian passport. We do have a lawyer but he doesn't seem to be making anything happen. We would like to seek other counsel or find more advice on this subject.

    He overstayed on his Visa by 2 yrs and got pulled over so they arrested him.

    What did the attorney file for you? Is your husband in removal (deportation) proceedings?
