So I had unprotected sex a little over a week ago (early morning 6/4). I was on the third day of my period. My boyfriend said semen might not've even gotten on me. But I took plan b anyway on 6/5 in the afternoon, which is within 72 hours like they suggest. Then on 6/11 I began bleeding. My period's not due for at least a couple more weeks. I don't think it's implantation bleeding or anything because it's not light or pink or brown like they say it'd be. Also, I have a pretty regular period and probably haven't even ovulated yet, or I might be right now. Anyway, the bleeding's been going on for 2 days now. It's been pretty much like a period. I hear this is common with plan b. It can mess up your period drastically. I've read about this experience several times on the Internet. I'm thinking I'll be just fine :) Just looking for other opinions! Thank you! Also, please only answer if you actually know what you're talking about.

Plan B can effect your cycle and period for a couple of months.
It also is not 100 percent effective and the longer you go the higher the failure chances.
