Model mdg5500aww setting to timer nor sensor dry setting will dry clothes .this is nat. gas and we have gas .doesnt matteer if dryer hose[about 3 feet] is connected or not. Any suggestions?

Are you getting any heat at all? If not then your ignitor located at the gas burner has probably gone out.
