Is it possible to move in an abandon house and pay the state tax on a house

No, an abandoned home is still owned by someone or some entity like a bank. If you contact the local sheriff or assessors office they may be able to tell you if this property will be going up for a tax auction. It would be helpful to know where this propety is located

If you occupy a seemingly abandoned house you can be arrested for trespassing. If you pay the taxes you are making a gift to the owner.

You can of course do it, but moving into the home would be trespassing and if you just pay the taxes, that is a gift to the owner. ** please pay mine if you want to pay someone's taxes.

Homes are sold for taxes only at tax sales that the country and / or state does. It is normally at auction, but there are some other sales at time. This is done about once a year, I often buy tax properties.
