So my girlfriend and I broke up two weeks ago. We had been together for 17 months, and she broke up with me because she didn't "love" me anymore, but now were working it out. She has told me she would like to which I would like to do also.

While we broke up she kissed another guy, which is OK like we weren't together, what can I say? That same night she ran into an guy she met while we were together, but I never heard a thing about it until last week and now they are continually texting. She told me she barely does, and its every hour or so, like there's no rush for her to reply, but today I found out she plays 20 questions with him when they text so its hardly every hour.

Also she told him the reason for breaking up even though she said to me she doesn't and wouldn't yesterday! So I found that out and said can you not and she said OK I won't. The main thing is she asked what his intentions were with her, and that was he only wanted to be friends because she seems nice and that's the same thing as she said, but she lied to me about the amount they speak so what does that mean?

She just says she just wants a guy mate that's all with him, so why say you don't talk much when you do. Its confusing because she wants us to work but she continually texts this guy when I asked her if she would stop while we work it out, but she wouldn't, I hope this makes sense.
And yeah I pretty much feel like the second option and that because its kind of up to her if she wants this that she can do whatever she pleases while we sort things out even though she made the commitment to me and to work it out.. thanks.

No she can't do whatever she wants while you BOTH work this out. What is she doing playing games or something? Not entirely fair to you who wants this. Just tell her, its you both together as a couple with no outsiders or its over. You have to put it on the line with her and mean it. Enough is enough. What is she, not mature enough to handle a monogomous relationship or what ? You haven't been firm enough with your intentions, you are letting her getting away with, well 'murder' of a relationship.

This is totally ridiculous behavior and completely immature. It sounds to me like she wants to, as they say,have her cake and eat it too. Regardless of what the guy said, it almost appears that SHE is the one pushing HIM for more and if you told her that it bothers you, especially considering they kissed while you broke up, and she is unable to take that into consideration, I would say kick her to the curb before she hurts you. How can you trust her? She has lied to you and then basically tells you what you want to hear and continues with the same deceitful behavior. Girls like this are not trustworthy -before you know it she will be texting some other guy or doing something else behind your back. Not worth it.

Don't blame her for what she is doing, blame yourself for what you aren't doing about it.

I see no need to work on a darn thing when someone has lost love, and told me so.

I take the hint and disappear.

You will always be number 2 or 3 with her.

Who needs that? Not you, I hope.

Leave her be for good.
