I met a girl online through a singles website and I am wondering how to ask her out. We have never talked on the phone, but she made a comment about meeting. There is a concert on Friday and I want to see if she will go with me, is it too soon for me to be asking her out and if it is, how long should I wait? How do I ask her?

You say to her... "You know how you mentioned about meeting? Well there is a concert on Friday that I plan on attending and you could meet me there, if you like?" If she asks how she will find you, suggest a coffee shop or something to meet at near by. Just don't arrange it so that anyone has to get in anyone else's car.

That way it's a safe public place, you have the concert to talk about afterwards and you each have your own transportation, in case you need a back door. If it goes well then perhaps you can exchange phone numbers.

She'll either say yes or no to your offer, easy peasy! :p

And if she says no and runs screaming for the hills, we'll be here to scrape you up and set you on your feet again. The only failure is in the not trying.

I agree with the last post... invite her! And say she is welcome to bring a friend(s) so she will feel comfortable.
