Ihad my lmp on 6/25 and started taking my ortho on 7/1. I have had unprotected sex many time before and after... did I give the pill enough time?

It is best to give the pill a complete month before having unprotected sex for it to be fully active.

Yes your birth control would be considered correct at 8/1 a month after you start taking it.

Also taking pills late or missing a pill can effect.

Plus of course you do know that no birth control is 100 percent,
