I am living in England where I moved to with my english girlfriend. We have broken up and now I am struggling to survive life as I don't know anyone here, I cannot afford my rent or bills and I am in pain about the end of my relationship.
I can't afford to eat and I'm soon going to be homeless so I can't see the point in living if I'm going to suffer on the streets.

Please don't even think such a thing! I will not go into the pain I have endured. This situation is not about anyone but YOU. Is there any way you can get back to your hometown? Do you have any family/friends that could send you enough funds to get you back home? Please remember: You are a Child of God. You have two parents who love you (I know, sometimes parents can be real jerks too!). You may be at odds with your parents. I truly hope not. Depending on your age and situation, you may sometime realize that your parents were/are actually COOL. It took my oldest son 26+ years to realize that-and the now 25 year old (little brother) STILL don't get it that I'm cool!
Anyway, I hope you have a way to contact those at home who care... see if they could assist in getting you home. Hopefully there are organizations in England who could assist you with some kind of lodging and food. Have you googled that? Maybe type in your location and go from there. Possibly all is not lost with the girlfriend. You guys must have something very special for you to move so far away just to be together. Give it time. She may soon figure out what an awesome dude you are.
Not to shove the "God words" down your throat, but He is always there and He already KNOWS what a cool dude you are. Do not give up! Please Google some assistance places. Where I live, we have a thing called 311-where you can find all sorts of info. Try the United Way, they're good people.

It won't hurt to be homeless if you can't get home.
There's friendships there that you aren't getting all alone in an apartment. There's people much worse off than you too.
I notice that you say that you want to die to avoid suffering, and haven't asked a question. That suggests to me that you are on the fence - you either want reasons to live or affirmation that it's OK to die. You are here on a world wide site instead of out there doing some miserable lonely act of death.

I'm not against suicide. I think the world is too knee jerk about it, forcing people into lonely desperation. You may find your mind is freer if you know that you are not alone. But I'm not convinced that you are suicidal. You are in grief, you are a long way from home, and you are penniless. That's not enough.
