    Can you get fired from a job if your doctor gave you a note keeping you out of work due to a sickness you got can you get fired

    Of course you can, unless you have a written contract or belong to a union.

    Depends on the company's sick leave policy. But it is certainly possible.

    Agree, the chances of the employer legally firing you are very high. Without a labor contract you are likely considered an "at will employee" which means you have almost no rights regarding your employment. You could be terminated without cause at any time.

    Of course the OP did I not give us any real info.

    How long have you worked, I have worked at several places where if you miss days during the first 90 days you get fired. Or have you missed a lot of days before this, if you are sick several days, every month, they can get tired of you being out all the time
