Hi my name is kendall and I'm 13 years old I really want to become a singer but have no idea how to qet to that goal I've done vocal lessons,gutiar lesson I've done it all I want to work with island def jam but I'm on the heavy wieght side what should I do and how should I do it ?

Aren't you already a singer? Perform for area nursing homes, libraries, schools, in charity benefits. Join the school glee club or a local musical production. Become very visible so people see you and can appreciate your music.

Be sure to get healthy by eating lots of veggies and fruits and not junk food and snacks. Drink water, not sodas. Making music takes a lot out of a person, so you want to be your most fit.

Practice. Once you think you're confident, jump at every oppertuneity to get on the stage and sing, get seen, get heard.

Maybe even perform on YouTube, if you're good, you'll be surprised how many people get found for talent on YouTube.

It's all about getting yourself seen and heard, as well as practice.

If you're good and you manage this, it may take some time, but someone will come and take an interest in your talent.

Once that happens, go from there, the person who scouted you will get you known.

Remember, once you think you're ready to perform. Jump at EVERY opportunity to get heard.
