Cell phone frequencies in the US
Hi,
I have two cell phones, both of them are the Nokia 3390. One is an att/cellular phone, which broke (but the reception was really poor), and the other, new one is for t-mobile.
I understand that these two phones are probably on different frequencies. After a little research, I found that the two frequency ranges supported by the US are: 850 and 1900 MHz. does this mean that my two phones are within these two ranges, respectively? Or am I way off base.?
I am trying to determine which carriers each phone can handle, provided I fix the broken one, and decide to use it in the future with another carrier.
Thanks in advance
