I often donate Plasma at a Plasma collection facility in Champaign, IL. We are paid $20-30 for each 600-900mm container. A person is able to donate twice in a 7 day period, at least 48 hours apart. I have wondered how the plasma is processed after donation and how much a hospital charges for this when given to a patient.
