    I had unprotected sex with my spouse and got my period 2 days later. Could I still be pregnant?

    During ovulation the lining of your uterus thickens to provide a place for a fertilized egg to embed. If no fertilized egg embeds, then the lining is flushed out of your system. This is called menstruation.

    Yes, it's a no. If an egg does NOT implant, you get your period.

    You got your period. You're not pregnant.

    If pregnancy is a concern will you be using birth control in the future?
