How do I change my hot tub wiring from hard to plug in
Just got a new hot tub and it has a 3 prong plug in, my old hot tub was hard wired. The box has a circuit breaker and amp. What to do?

Do you mean that the old tub was hard wired to a disconnect box which has a breaker? Amp is short for ampere, a rate of current flow. Please explain. Is the circuit to the hot tub on a GFCI breaker at the main panel? What is the voltage?

This is something best left to a professional.
Many tubs can be converted internally from 20A/120v plug-in to higher amperage 240v hard wire.

IMO this is NOT a DIY type project.
